This sophisticated and complex hearing instrument has modern single-channel processing, three position M-T-O switch, direct audio input and it takes a #13 battery. The RIO SIERRA POWER has input/output compression ideal for a "MODERATE" hearing loss. Digital signal processing offers the minimal recordable distortion in any noise environment so that the signal-to-noise ratio is kept at the highest possible level. This aid has a telephone switch for using the telephone without any feedback.
